Breaking capacity is 30 kA at 415V AC (65 kA at 240V AC for the 2 pole version, built in the 3 pole frame size), with Ics = 100% of Icu. The DU range gives you an adjustable thermal (overload) setting from 0.8 to 1.0 times In – this unit covers 100A (80-100A) – with a fixed magnetic short-circuit trip at 9 times the rated current (900A here). That adjustability lets you trim the overload trip to the actual load and cable size during commissioning.
Spreader terminals are not included with this catalog number – if your panel needs them for cable termination (35 mm mm2 lugs), add the matching DU100H 2 pole spreader link set and, for panel-door operation, the direct or extended rotary handle from the Frequently Bought Together section below. One set covers one MCCB. Phase barriers are supplied with the unit.

Where can I use a 30 kA MCCB like the DU100H?
Use it where the prospective short-circuit level at the installation point is 30 kA or less – typically incomers and feeders in commercial and industrial distribution boards. Your panel designer or electrician works this out from the upstream transformer rating. If you need a higher fault level, the DU range goes up to 50 kA (DU400N) and the dsine DN range covers 25-100 kA – we stock both.
Can I adjust the trip settings on this MCCB?
Yes, partly – the DU100H has an adjustable thermal (overload) dial from 0.8 to 1.0 times In, so this 100A unit can be set anywhere in the 100A (80-100A) range. The magnetic short-circuit trip is fixed at 9 times the rated current (900A on this unit). If you need finer electronic settings, look at the DN range with MTX microprocessor releases.
Are spreader terminals included with this MCCB?
